Coaches/Trainers and Managers Needed for 2019-2020

If you are interested in volunteering for the 2019-2020 hockey season please submit your application as soon as possible.  Planning for next season has begun and it helps us to know we have volunteers willing to help out with the teams.  Outlined below is the requirements for coach, assistant coach, trainer and manager.  Courses will be reimbursed by the NCMHA once a coaching application has been approved.

Required For Everyone:

Vulnerable Sector Check done by the OPP

Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders – Online Course

Gender Expression and Identity – Online Course

Initiation Program and Novice:

Hockey University Coach 1/2 – Online Course

Coach 1 Intro to Coach

Atom House and PeeWee House:

Hockey University Coach 1/2 – Online Course

Coach 2 – Coach Level

Checking (only required by one coach)

PeeWee B, Bantam B, and Midget B:

Development 1

Checking

Development 1 Certified ( Head Coach only)

Trainer

HCTP Trainer Level 1 – Online
