A player of a team of a lower division of the same club may play for a team of higher division at any time. The following rules must be followed when affiliating a player:
- A maximum of 10 games may be played with the higher division team. However, if the player’s registered team completes it’s regular season and playoffs before the player’s affiliated team, the player may thereafter affiliate an unlimited number of times. Exhibition and/or tournament games, which are not part of regular league games or playoffs games, are excluded from the number of games.
- An affiliated player shall be designated on the official game report by the use of the symbol “AP” after their name on the players line-up or roster
- The affiliated player must have permission from the coach or manager of the team they are registered with before the affiliated player can participate in any game of practice. Failure to receive permission may result in the suspension of the coach.
Teams must have a NOHA Player Affiliation Record form completed and signed by the Referee for each game this player participates in. Teams must also have a copy of the teams approved Affiliation Declaration.
Please contact Jodi Martin or Meghan McClelland if you wish to affiliate a player and we will give you the proper documents.
